The event is part of a series of activities celebrating the Day of Honoring the Vietnamese Language within the overseas Vietnamese community, carrying profound significance in preserving and spreading the Vietnamese language among expatriates.
Attending the program were Mr. Nguyen Truong Son, Consul General of Vietnam in Osaka; Ms. Le Thuong, Head of the Organizing Committee; Prof. Dr. Huynh Van Chuong, Director of the Quality Management Department, Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam; along with representatives from various agencies, educational organizations, associations, and the Vietnamese community in Japan.
In her opening remarks, Ms. Le Thuong emphasized the program's significance in building a structured learning and usage environment for the Vietnamese language among the young Vietnamese generation in Japan. She affirmed that each "Vietnamese Language Ambassador" is not only an award recipient but also carries the mission of spreading the love for the Vietnamese language, contributing to preserving the national cultural identity far from home.

Mr. Nguyen Truong Son, Consul General of Vietnam in Osaka, highly appreciated the efforts of the Vietnamese community in organizing in-depth and systematic Vietnamese language educational activities. According to him, the Vietnamese language is a connecting thread for the community, a crucial foundation for the younger generation to look towards their roots, and contributes to promoting Vietnam-Japan friendship relations.
Prof. Dr. Huynh Van Chuong also acknowledged and highly valued the Vietnamese language education model in Japan, considering it a testament to the strong development of Vietnamese language teaching and learning activities within the global Vietnamese community, aiming towards standardization and enhancing the quality of mother tongue education.

Within the program framework, the Organizing Committee awarded the title of "Ambassador" to outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to preserving and developing the Vietnamese language, including: Prof. Shimizu Masaaki; Ms. Ngo Thi Dan, Cay Tre Vietnamese School; Ms. Nguyen Phuong Lan; Ms. Nguyen Thi Ke; Ms. Hoang Thi Thu; and Mr. Le Cong Trinh.
Additionally, the Organizing Committee also awarded the Inspiration Prize to outstanding students: Ngo Thanh Tam, Vu Duc An, and Trinh Tu Anh. These young faces demonstrate a deep love for the Vietnamese language and actively spread the spirit of learning within the community.

A special highlight of the program was the opening ceremony of the Vietnamese class at Cay Tre Vietnamese School in Sakai City, marking a new development in Vietnamese language teaching in the Kansai region. The class is expected to enhance Vietnamese language proficiency for the younger generation while creating a cultural connection environment within the community.
The ceremony concluded in a solemn, warm, and emotional atmosphere, reflecting the spirit of unity, national pride, and determination to preserve and promote the Vietnamese language within the Vietnamese community in Japan.
