World Culture Festival: The art of connecting Cultures from Around the World in Hanoi
WVR - The second World Culture Festival in Hanoi gathers numerous artists and art troupes from Vietnam and abroad, offering a series of performances, cultural exchanges, and creative experiences at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel from October 1-4, 2026.

The second World Culture Festival in Hanoi will commence at 8 PM on October 1 at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel. The program brings together many artists, domestic art units, and international art troupes, creating a diverse space of performances and cultural colors.

Melodies from Vietnam and the world
The opening stage will feature honorary Professor Dr. artist Chu Bao Que, People's Artist Trong Phuc, singers Truc Nhan, Hoa Minzy, Duc Phuc, Hoang Bach, Ha Myo, GOM Show, solo drummer Thu Ha, the Green Sound group along with the Hue Royal Court Music Theater, Bac Ninh Quan ho Theater, Dong Drum group, and the Central Highlands Gong Art Troupe...
The opening night will also feature art troupes from Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, China, Indonesia, Israel, Republic of Korea, Laos, Pakistan, Peru, and Ukraine.
Performances will continue throughout the festival days, concluding with a closing program at 8 PM on October 4.
The closing night will feature People's Artists Dieu Huong, Que Tran, Meritorious Artist Vo Minh Lam, Huong Tram, Anh Tu, ca tru singer Kieu Anh, UPRIZE, Sao Tuoi Tho Club, Tre Dance Group, Moc Cam Folk Orchestra, and the Central Puppet Theater.
Also performing in the closing program are art troupes from Belgium, Bulgaria, Cambodia, India, Iran, Mexico, Myanmar, the Philippines, Russia, and the United Arab Emirates.

Expanding cultural exchange and creativity spaces
With the theme “Converging Heritage – Creating the Future”, the second World Culture Festival in Hanoi is organized to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Vietnam joining UNESCO.
Compared to the first edition, this year's festival is expanded in scale and diversity, featuring 45 cultural spaces, 35 culinary booths, a film screening program with 18 countries registered to participate, a fashion space with traditional costumes from 19 countries, and the participation of 20 international art troupes.
Performances and multicultural music exchanges are organized throughout the festival, contributing to showcasing the distinctive cultural values of Vietnam and the participating countries.
A new highlight of the festival is the “Spreading Creativity from Heritage – International Games Festival” area, connecting historical and cultural values with technology and creative industries.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in collaboration with Vietnamese enterprises, introduces, publishes, and operates video games inspired by Vietnamese history and culture, allowing the public to experience and explore heritage through modern interactive forms.

Additionally, cosplay performances combined with dance from the game Audition and LED screen effects bring a youthful and vibrant experience space.
Through artistic, culinary, cinematic, fashion, and creative activities, the festival expands opportunities for cultures to meet, share unique values, and seek commonalities in diversity. The combination of heritage and creativity, tradition and modernity, also creates new cultural approaches suitable for diverse audience groups.
