Vietnamese Ao Dai shines at Southeast Asian Cultural Festival in London

WVR - At the Festival, the Vietnamese delegation made a special impression, bringing the image of Vietnam and its people closer to international friends.

After three days (September 5-7), the Southeast Asian Cultural Festival – CelebrASIA Festival at Battersea Power Station concluded in a joyous atmosphere. More than 150,000 attendees immersed themselves in a grand celebration of culture, cuisine, and art from 10 Southeast Asian countries.

The CelebrASIA Festival is an annual event organized by the Community Welfare Fund – Battersea Power Station Shopping Center in collaboration with the embassies of 10 Southeast Asian countries every September.

This year marks the second time the festival has been held. The Vietnamese Women's and Children's Association in the UK organized the Vietnamese community's participation, overseeing the staging of traditional Vietnamese parades and performances at the festival.

The CelebrASIA Festival continues to demonstrate its strong appeal by offering multi-sensory experiences, from aromatic street food stalls reminiscent of home, to exquisite craft workshops, and vibrant art performances.

More than just a festival, CelebrASIA has become a symbol of connection, unity, and regional pride for Southeast Asia in the heart of London.

In this vibrant setting, the Vietnamese delegation, with the Bắc Bling dance by BBVTALENTS, energized the stage, spreading the youthful energy and modern vitality of the new generation.

The Ao Dai parade through the main streets of Battersea Power Station became an emotional highlight among thousands of spectators, affirming traditional beauty and national pride.

The fashion show featuring the Love Collection Ao Dai on Salakhe silk took the audience on an artistic journey where tradition meets contemporary creativity.

Images of models wearing hand-painted conical hats with symbols of 10 Southeast Asian countries, set to the music of Chopstick by Phương Mỹ Chi, not only honored Vietnamese culture but also sent a powerful message of Asian solidarity – shining together.

The applause, admiring glances, and vibrant photos shared across social media are testament to the success of the Vietnamese delegation in promoting culture, making the national brand a memorable part of this grand festival.

CelebrASIA 2025 has become a venue where Southeast Asian countries proudly showcase their identities, collectively painting a picture of a diverse, creative region that remains united in friendship.

For Vietnam, this is an opportunity to once again affirm its rich cultural identity while contributing to the shared message: "We are different, but always together and shining together".
