On April 26, in Seoul, the Vietnam Women's Association in the Republic of Korea organized the Vietnam-Republic of Korea Family Day in a warm and connected atmosphere, coinciding with the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day.
The event, held under the patronage of the Embassy of Vietnam in the Republic of Korea, attracted a large number of community members, especially multicultural Vietnam-Republic of Korea families.

Emphasizing the significance of the Day, Nguyen Thi Thai Binh, Minister Counselor of the Embassy of Vietnam in the Republic of Korea, highlighted that the event holds special meaning as it coincides with the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day, deepening the spirit of returning to the roots.
The event took place shortly after President Lee Jae Myung of the Republic of Korea and his spouse made a successful State visit to Vietnam, paving the way for comprehensive strategic cooperation between the two countries to develop in a practical, effective, and sustainable manner in the coming period.
In this shared success, Vietnam-Republic of Korea families are the most enduring bridges, where the two cultures are connected by love, understanding, and daily sharing.
The Minister Counselor also affirmed that the younger generations, carrying both cultural streams, will continue to play a connecting role, contributing to the future relations between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea.
The Embassy of Vietnam in the Republic of Korea highly appreciates and sincerely thanks the Women's Association for accompanying the Embassy in organizing meaningful activities and movements for the Vietnamese community to create a connection with the homeland and among the young Vietnamese generation in the Republic of Korea.

Speaking at the Day, Mai Thi Hong Ngoc, President of the Vietnam Women's Association in the Republic of Korea, emphasized that the Vietnam-Republic of Korea Family Day 2026 is organized to create a space for families to interact, connect with love, and share memorable moments together.
The President of the Vietnam Women's Association in the Republic of Korea affirmed that the family is the cell of society, a safe haven nurturing dreams.
This year's event is even more meaningful as it coincides with the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day, with Vietnam-Republic of Korea families in the Republic of Korea expressing their hearts towards the national roots, proud to be descendants of Lac Hong, striving to build happy families and nurturing dreams for future generations.

From the Republic of Korea's side, Kim Dong-hoon, Director of the Seoul Foreigners Support Center, stated that Vietnam-Republic of Korea families are valuable bridges between the two cultures, exemplary representatives directly spreading the values of diversity and integration.
Therefore, the Vietnam-Republic of Korea Family Day 2026 is not merely a cultural event but an important occasion to share the traditional and modern cultural values of both countries, thereby promoting understanding and sharing.
Additionally, Mr. Kim Dong-hoon expressed confidence that the event will help strengthen the bonds within families and build an increasingly cohesive community.

Within the framework of the event, the organizers conducted various activities such as talent competitions for Vietnam-Republic of Korea families, culinary experiences, and traditional Vietnamese cultural experiences, thereby spreading Vietnam's traditional cultural values to the Republic of Korea.
The event continues to affirm the core role of associations, especially the Vietnam Women's Association in the Republic of Korea, in strengthening community solidarity, spreading Vietnamese cultural values, and making practical contributions to enhancing the friendship between the peoples of Vietnam and the Republic of Korea.
