Vietnam has recorded 331 coronavirus cases so far with more than 95% fully recovering and no deaths reported.

The announcement was made by Forbes after the country has only recorded 331 COVID-19 cases, along with going 53 consecutive days with no new locally transmitted infections.

Of the total, 316 cases have gone on to make a full recovery, 95.5% of the overall figure, while no deaths have been reported.

At present, the remaining 15 cases are all receiving treatment at medical facilities that are either centrally or locally run, with the majority of patients enjoying a stable health condition.

Overall, Forbes lists Switzerland as the safest country in the world right now in terms of being protected against the COVID-19.

“Switzerland and Germany achieve the number one and number two positions in this new special case study specifically because of their economy’s resilience, and due to the careful ways in which they are attempting to relax lockdown and economic freezing mandates in a fact and science-based manner, without sacrificing public health and safety,” the study notes.
