WVR - From November 24-26, the Vietnamese Embassy in Qatar, in collaboration with Saigontourist Group, participated in the Qatar Travel Mart (QTM) 2025, one of the most significant and large-scale tourism promotion events in the Middle East.

Qatar Travel Mart 2025: A premier tourism destination in the region
QTM 2025 opened on November 24 with participation from over 60 countries, reaching record numbers of visitors, delegations, and exhibitors.
The event was chaired by Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al Thani, Qatar's Minister of Commerce and Industry, and attended by numerous ambassadors, senior officials, and business leaders.

From the first day, the exhibition area was bustling as tourism managers, government agencies, experts, and international businesses met to discuss trends, cooperation opportunities, and development directions.
In his opening speech, Saad bin Ali Al-Kharji, Chairman of Visit Qatar, highlighted the importance of innovation, technology, and sustainable development in shaping the future of the global tourism industry.
Vietnam's booth makes an impression
At QTM 2025, Vietnam showcased prominent images of its culture, nature, cuisine, and unique tourism products through a booth co-organized by the Embassy and Saigontourist. Many international businesses explored Vietnam's tours, potential cooperation in destination promotion, visitor exchange, and product development.
Promotional publications, videos, and activities introducing Vietnam's destinations attracted a large number of visitors, thereby helping to promote the image of a friendly, safe, and culturally rich Vietnam.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Qatar Nguyen Huy Hiep shared: “Participating in Qatar Travel Mart 2025 is a crucial opportunity for Vietnam to introduce itself as a dynamic, culturally rich, and friendly destination to international friends.
QTM is one of the largest-scale tourism events in the region, bringing together numerous businesses, experts, and global partners. Vietnam's presence here demonstrates our commitment to enhancing promotion, connectivity, and expanding tourism cooperation with the Middle East in general and Qatar in particular.
Through the joint booth of the Embassy and Saigontourist, we aim to offer international visitors and partners authentic images of Vietnam's natural beauty, culture, cuisine, and people.
We also hope the fair opens up more cooperation opportunities in destination promotion, visitor exchange, tourism product development, and business connectivity between the two sides.
