Many visitors expressed their fondness for Vietnamese cuisine and their desire to visit in the near future.

Speaking at the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to the Republic of Korea Vu Ho emphasized that participating in the Seoul Friendship Festival 2026 is a meaningful opportunity to enhance people-to-people exchanges and promote the image of Vietnam's country, people, and culture to international friends.

According to the Ambassador, the Vietnamese booth not only contributes to promoting culture, tourism, and cuisine but also spreads the good values of Vietnam's country and people, thereby strengthening the social foundation and friendship for the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea to develop more deeply and substantively.

Deputy Mayor for Political Affairs of Seoul, Mr. Park Chang Goo, stated that after 30 years of formation and development, the festival has become a representative exchange space connecting Seoul with the international community, contributing to promoting understanding and solidarity among cultures.

Meanwhile, Brunei Ambassador to the Republic of Korea Nuriyah Pengeran Haji Yusov, representing the diplomatic corps attending the event, assessed that the Seoul Friendship Festival continues to play an important role as a forum promoting friendship, mutual understanding, and cultural exchange between Seoul and the international community.

Besides the activities of the Vietnamese Embassy, the VietTown project also attracted visitors' attention with a model promoting Vietnamese goods and culture in the Republic of Korea.

According to Ms. Pham Thi Mai Thuong, Executive Director of the VietTown project, this model aims to build a professional ecosystem to help Vietnamese products sustainably increase their presence in the Republic of Korea market by combining product promotion with Vietnamese cultural experiences.

The presence of the Vietnamese booth at the festival continues to demonstrate the active role of the Vietnamese community in the Republic of Korea in preserving and spreading national cultural identity, while also contributing to enhancing understanding, friendship, and connection between the people of Vietnam and the Republic of Korea.
