For his part, Head of the United Front Wang Tao noted that Chongqing noodles, though simple, embody the character of the river region: spicy, generous, and honest. Every morning, millions of Chongqing residents start their day with a bowl of noodles.
The Vice Chairman of the Chongqing Political Consultative Conference and leaders of Yu Zhong District both assessed that cuisine is a universal language that requires no translation. The leaders from both sides cooking together is a testament to sincere friendship, helping people from both sides understand each other better, which is a solid foundation for economic, tourism, and people-to-people cooperation.
