This year's Bazaar was attended by the embassies of eight countries, including four ASEAN countries in Greece: Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. Additionally, the embassies of four countries that are Comprehensive Strategic Partners, Dialogue Partners in various fields, and traditional friends of ASEAN, namely Japan, Republic of Korea, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, as well as the Honorary Consulate of Malaysia in Greece and the Greece-ASEAN Business Council, participated.
The organization of the Bazaar is an effort by ASEAN countries to affirm solidarity with Greece, promote people-to-people relations between ASEAN countries and Greece, enhance the image and diversity in unity of ASEAN in Greece, and strengthen friendly relations with ASEAN's friends.
The President of the Greek charity organization “Friends of the Child” expressed gratitude to ASEAN countries for their participation over the past four years in activities supporting disadvantaged children in Greece, noting that the ASEAN charity bazaar is a particularly meaningful event.
During the two-day bazaar, the Vietnamese booth, featuring national brand products and traditional cuisine, attracted significant attention from local residents and international friends.
Notably, performances by young Vietnamese artist Nguyen Duong Thai, residing in Czech Republic, on the traditional instrument dan ty ba, featuring Vietnamese, Greek, and international music, were highly appreciated by the audience. These performances helped spread Vietnamese cultural identity in Greece and added vibrancy to the Bazaar atmosphere.
