Earlier, on April 26, 2018, the municipal People’s Committee, the Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF), and Sakae Holdings Ltd., signed a memorandum of understanding on the introduction of Singaporean experts to help with the city’s master plan.
On December 3, 2018, in the official dispatch No.1709/TTg-CN on the selection of advisers for the planning, the Prime Minister agreed for the work to be carried out in line with Article 26 of the 2013 Law on Bidding.
Later, on December 14 that year, on behalf of the local authorities, the Management Board of Da Nang Infrastructure Construction and Urban Development Projects signed a principal contract with the two selected companies.
Accordingly, Sakae Corporate Advisory – a subsidiary of Sakae Holdings Ltd., which offers corporate advisory and strategic investor relations services – is set to assist Da Nang in designing its economic development strategy toward 2030.
Meanwhile, the urban and infrastructure development consultancy Surbana Jurong will take care of the city’s master planning toward 2030 with a vision to 2050.
