Today's reference exchange rate at 9:30am, December 12, 2022:

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 23,655 VND/USD on December 12, down 2 VND from the last working day of previous week (December 9).

With the current trading band of +/-5%, the ceiling rate applicable to commercial banks during the day is 24,837 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,472 VND/USD.

The opening-hour rates at commercial banks rose.

At 8:30 am, BIDV listed the buying rate at 23,480 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,760 VND/USD, both up 45 VND from the end of December 9.

Meanwhile, Vietcombank kept both rates unchanged at 23,450 VND/USD (buying) and 23,760 VND/USD (selling).

During the week from December 5-9, the daily reference exchange rate fluctuated variably, ending the week down 1 VND.
