Reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,779 VND/USD on March 14, up 21 VND
WVR/VNA - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,779 VND/USD on March 14, up 21 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,018 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,540 VND/USD.
At major commercial banks, the opening-hour rates saw increases.
At 8:35 am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 25,330 VND/USD and the selling rate 25,690 VND/USD, both up 50 VND from the March 13 morning session.
BIDV also raised both rates by 65 VND, listing the buying rate at 25,345 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,705 VND/USD.
