The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,758 VND/USD on March 13, unchanged from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,996 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,520 VND/USD.
At major commercial banks, the opening-hour rates saw decreases.
At 8:30 am, both Vietcombank and BIDV listed the buying rate at 25,280 VND/USD and the selling rate 25,640 VND/USD, both down 10 VND from the March 12 morning session.
