Reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,758 VND/USD on March 3, up 32 VND

WVR/VNA - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,758 VND/USD on March 3, up 32 VND from the last work day of the previous week.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,996 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,520 VND/USD.

At major commercial banks, the opening-hour rates experienced fluctuations.
At 8:30am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 25,370 VND/USD and the selling rate 25,730 VND/USD, both up 20 VND from the February 28 morning session.

BIDV cut both rates by 25 VND, setting its buying and selling rates the same as those at Vietcombank.
