Minister engaged with Vietnamese students in Russia to contribute to IT development at home

At the September 29 event, Minister of Information and Communications provided an overview of Vietnam’s position on the global IT map, stressing Party General Secretary and State President To Lam has viewed digital transformation as a revolution to develop the workforce, perfect production relations, and take the country into the new era. The minister cleared up many questions raised by the participating students, mainly focusing on the current trends of the IT sector, particularly digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI).

Noting that Russia offers an excellent environment for training IT experts, the Ministry of Information and Communications delegation encouraged Vietnamese students to study harder, thus contributing to the development of the IT sector in the homeland.
While in Russia, the delegation visited many universities and institutes specialising in IT and facilities operating in information security and satellite technology. They also had a working session with the Russian Minister of Digital Development, Communications, and Mass Media.
