The Lao migrants currently live in 11 villages in Dak Glei district’s Dak Mon, Dak Long, and Dak Nhoong communes.
In accordance with President Nguyen Phu Trong’s Decision No. 561 dated April 3, 2019, a total of 38 individuals will receive Vietnamese citizenship. They are residing in six communes in two districts of Dak Glei and Ngoc Hoi of Kon Tum province.
Following Dak Glei district, a similar ceremony is scheduled to take place on May 22 to grant citizenship to the other 21 Lao nationals in Ngoc Hoi district’s Dak Duc, Dak Nong, and Bo Y communes.
