On January 11, Thieu nien Tien phong và Nhi dong Newspaper, in collaboration with Q.Talent Media Co., Ltd., announced the Golden Lotus Bud Awards to honor and nurture young artistic talents nationwide.
By recognizing outstanding figures in various artistic fields, the awards contribute to nurturing, preserving, and developing the next generation of talents for the nation's culture and arts. They also aim to spread positive values regarding character, lifestyle, responsibility, and community awareness to society.
Beyond honoring achievements, the Golden Lotus Bud Awards aim to create a healthy, reputable, and professional artistic playground where children can showcase their abilities and affirm themselves in a transparent, educational, and well-guided environment.
The awards serve as a bridge connecting young talents with families, schools, and the public, helping to shape aesthetic appreciation, nurture artistic passion, and inspire a spirit of contribution among Vietnam's youth.

Speaking at the announcement ceremony, writer and journalist Nguyen Phan Khue, Editor-in-Chief of Thieu nien Tien phong và Nhi dong Newspaper, stated that the awards are organized in a regional recognition format to expand participation opportunities and spread humanitarian values nationwide.
Specifically, the Northern region recognition ceremony will take place on February 16 at the Eastern Cultural House, Hai Phong City. The Southern region ceremony is scheduled for March 15 in Ho Chi Minh City.
In each region, the organizing committee will select and honor outstanding young artists to represent the area and accompany Thieu nien Tien phong và Nhi dong Newspaper for a one-year term.
The award categories of the Golden Lotus Bud Awards are diverse, covering fields such as music, film and television, theater, artistic programs, and performances, aiming to accurately recognize the abilities and personal achievements of each young talent.
The awards officially accept submissions nationwide. The selection process combines nominations from the organizing committee, public voting, and expert evaluation by the Art Council, ensuring objectivity, fairness, and transparency.
In addition to the recognition activities, at the two programs in Hai Phong and Ho Chi Minh City, the organizing committee, in collaboration with partners, will donate 200 bicycles to underprivileged children at each location, supporting their education and spreading the spirit of community sharing.

Sharing at the announcement ceremony, former Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Vuong Duy Bien, Chairman of the Art Council of the Golden Lotus Bud Awards, emphasized that the council comprises artists from various fields. They will impartially select talented and outstanding contestants, creating a bridge between young talents and the public, nurturing artistic passion and the aspiration to contribute among the younger generation.
"Beyond honoring achievements, the Golden Lotus Bud Awards aim to build a reputable, professional, and educational artistic playground where children can showcase their talents and affirm themselves in a transparent environment, guided correctly by family, school, and society," stated Vuong Duy Bien.
