Free cinematic feast to celebrate Vietnam’s 80th National Day
WVR - From August 28 to September 5, visitors attending the National Achievement Exhibition "80 Years of Independence – Freedom – Happiness" at the National Exhibition Fair Centre (Dong Anh commune, Hanoi) will be able to enjoy free screenings of 50 outstanding Vietnamese films.

According to the Cinema Department under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the film screenings are not only a meaningful cultural and artistic activity but also a reflection of the remarkable growth of Vietnamese cinema.
Films with deep impressions such as: Dao, Pho and Piano; The Tunnel: Sun in the Darkness; Dreamy Eyes; Jailbait; The Scent of Burning Grass; Face Off 7… will be introduced to the public.
Notably, the film screenings also honour the image of President Ho Chi Minh through works like Nguyen Ai Quoc in Hong Kong and Ho Chi Minh - The Image of the Man.
Additionally, many heroic historical films such as The Steel Rampart of Vinh Linh... contribute to affirming the great stature of the August Revolution and the value of national unity.
Audiences will also have the opportunity to meet and interact with many actors and production teams during screenings, such as the crew of Dao, Pho and Piano: Director Phi Tien Son, artist Vu Viet Hung, actress Cao Thuy Linh (lead actress), actress Thuy Trang (nurse role), actress Bui Hai Vy (singer role); the crew of Face Off 7: Director Ly Hai, producer Minh Ha, actor Quach Ngoc Tuyen (Tu Hau role), actress Tran Thi Tram Anh (Nam Thao role), actress Tran Thi Thanh Hien (Ma Hai role).
