The event is part of activities celebrating the 50th anniversary of Hue’s liberation (March 26, 1975 – 2025).
Phan Thanh Hai, Director of the municipal Department of Culture and Sports, said the event is expected to evoke memories of the city's heroic past and the noble sacrifices of previous generations, contributing to educating young people on patriotism, and fostering their spirit of dedication in study, and encouraging them to become responsible citizens and future leaders of the nation in the new era.
In addition to showcasing the significant contributions and sacrifices of Hue’s soldiers and citizens during the two resistance wars, the exhibition also highlights the city's potential, resources, and strengths over the past 50 years, reflecting its gradual rise as a national hub for culture, tourism, specialised healthcare, education - training, and science - technology.
Hue’s handicrafts and OCOP-certified items, along with key export goods such as textiles, fibers, fabrics, industrial wood, ceramic tiles, seafood, and rubber, are also introduced at the event.
