WVR - On June 2, in Hanoi, the Ho Chi Minh Museum inaugurated the exhibition “Simple but Noble Examples” 2026 under the direction of the Party Central Committee's Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilisation, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The event is organized to commemorate the 136th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026), the 115th anniversary of his departure to find a way to save the country (June 5, 1911 - June 5, 2026), and to summarize 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the 12th Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Vu Manh Ha, Party Secretary and Director of the Ho Chi Minh Museum, emphasized that during his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh always paid special attention to highlighting good people and good deeds.

He once advised: “A living example is worth more than a hundred propaganda speeches” and affirmed: “Every good person, every good deed is a beautiful flower, and our entire nation is a beautiful forest of flowers.”

According to Dr. Vu Manh Ha, for President Ho Chi Minh, the strength of the revolution not only stemmed from grand ideas but also from concrete actions, from ordinary people who always lived for the nation and the people, putting the common good above personal interests.

Originating from this viewpoint, in 1968, President Ho Chi Minh directed the publication of the book "Good People, Good Deeds" to propagate, educate, and spread exemplary figures in combat, labor, and production. This book contributed to fostering patriotism, creating a great spiritual strength that helped the nation overcome difficult periods of resistance and the cause of national construction.

After President Ho Chi Minh passed away, the movements to study and follow his example were launched and maintained regularly and long-term by the Party.

From the movement "Study and Follow the Will of President Ho Chi Minh", "Live, Fight, Work, and Study Following the Great Example of Uncle Ho!" to the current movement "Study and Follow Ho Chi Minh's Ideology, Morality, and Style" has attracted widespread participation from all classes of people.

The strong spread of these emulation movements has contributed to the emergence of more and more exemplary collectives and individuals in all areas of social life; from building the Party and political system, developing the economy, culture, and society to building a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern People's Army and People's Public Security. These examples have contributed to building new people, strong organizations, and contributing to important achievements in the cause of building and defending the nation.

With nearly 200 images, documents, and artifacts, this year's exhibition introduces the public to 136 exemplary figures, including 73 collectives and 63 individuals.

These are outstanding figures selected from nearly 400 collectives and individuals introduced and honored by the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commissions of provincial, city, and central party committees over the past year.

Many touching and humanistic stories are introduced at the exhibition. These include Ho Dinh Vu (Nghe An), who quietly accompanied his visually impaired friend for two years on the way to school, spreading beautiful friendship and sharing spirit. There is also teacher Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai in the highlands of Lai Chau, who brings knowledge to students daily, not only imparting knowledge but also igniting faith and aspirations for them.

The exhibition also introduces exemplary figures of the young generation in the digital age, such as members and youth of Gia Rai High School (Ca Mau), who are pioneers in applying technology, promoting digital transformation, contributing to forming a dynamic, creative, and responsible digital citizen generation.

Additionally, there is the green startup story of Bui Thi Thuy, who turned seemingly discarded young pomelos into useful, environmentally friendly products, contributing to sustainable economic development.

One of the touching images introduced at the exhibition is the soldiers on the rocky slopes of Vi Xuyen, who persistently search for their former comrades, continuing the nation's tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source".

According to Dr. Vu Manh Ha, despite working in different fields, each collective and individual honored shares a common trait of compassion, responsibility, and aspiration to contribute to the community and the country.

They are ordinary people who have overcome circumstances, dared to think, dared to act, wholeheartedly serving the nation and the people. “The 136 collectives and individuals introduced in this exhibition are the most beautiful flowers dedicated to our beloved President Ho Chi Minh,” Dr. Vu Manh Ha emphasized.

The exhibition is open to the public from June 2 until the end of September 2026 at the Ho Chi Minh Museum.

The organizers stated that after 14 consecutive years of being held (2013 - 2026), the exhibition “Simple but Noble Examples” has become a significant political and cultural activity.

Not only honoring exemplary figures, but the exhibition also helps the public gain a deeper understanding of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style, thereby spreading good deeds in social life, contributing to building a richer, more beautiful, and civilized country as he wished.
