Several topics will be discussed, including measures to attract the expat community’s investment in Vietnam and experiences of overseas businessmen and intellectuals, who returned home to build their careers. Localities will introduce their preferential policies for the community.

On January 26, 2019, the “Xuan Que Huong” (Homeland Spring) 2019 programme will be held in the capital of Ha Noi city.

The annual event aims to provide a platform for Vietnamese expats to share their aspirations and thoughts and honour those who have contributed to the homeland’s development. The overseas community will receive updates on the socio-economic affairs at home and connect with their countrymen in Vietnam and abroad.

There are approximately 4.5 million Vietnamese living and working in 103 countries and territories worldwide. They form an indispensable part of the nation and play an important role in intensifying the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and the rest of the world.
