Deputy Foreign Minister Le Thi Thu Hang pays tribute to fallen Kazakhstani soldiers
WVR - On the morning of September 28, at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Vietnam, Deputy Foreign Minister Le Thi Thu Hang, on behalf of the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, paid tribute and signed the condolence book in memory of the Kazakhstani soldiers who died while on duty in the waters of Mangystau Province on September 24.

At the Embassy of Kazakhstan, Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang expressed deep sorrow and condolences over the sacrifice of the Kazakhstani soldiers while on duty. The Deputy Minister extended her condolences to the Government, people of Kazakhstan, and the families, relatives, and comrades of the fallen soldiers.
Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang's visit and signing of the condolence book reflect the sympathy and solidarity of the Government and people of Vietnam with Kazakhstan's loss, while also underscoring Vietnam's appreciation for the friendship and cooperative relations between the two countries.
In the condolence book, Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang wrote, “Deeply mourn the Kazakhstani soldiers who sacrificed their lives while on duty in the waters of Mangystau Province on September 24, 2026. On behalf of the State and people of Vietnam, I extend the deepest condolences to the State, people of Kazakhstan, and the families of the soldiers.”

The Kazakhstani soldiers died on September 24 while on duty in the waters of Mangystau Province. The incident has left a significant loss for the armed forces, families, and comrades of the soldiers.
Vietnam and Kazakhstan share friendly and cooperative relations across various fields. The two countries established diplomatic relations in 1992 and have maintained exchanges of delegations, high-level contacts, and cooperation in economic, trade, cultural, educational, and people-to-people exchanges. Acts of sharing and encouragement during difficult times help strengthen trust and friendship between the peoples of the two countries.
