This is an annual event within the series of activities of Ha Long Tourism Week. Each year, the program introduces a new theme. This year, as the country steps into a new era, the program carries the theme “Wonders Awaken – New Era”.

Maintaining the distinctive appeal of previous years, Carnaval Ha Long 2026 continues to be a vibrant cultural “touchpoint” with two main parts: the Street Parade and a special artistic program. The highlight of the festival is the parade featuring 13 domestic artist troupes and one international troupe, along with 10 parade floats.

Through lively rhythms, Carnaval 2026 vividly showcased the unique cultural identities of areas within Quang Ninh province: Ha Long ward, Bai Chay ward, Mao Khe ward, and more.

He shared: “This is my first opportunity to perform in Ha Long, so my band and I brought a completely new song called Re Moi. Through the song and performance attire, I wish to showcase the identity and beauty of my country.”

Contributing to the explosive atmosphere of the night was the participation of international dance troupes. Dancer Bryant from Cuba enthusiastically shared about the preparation process: “I have practiced very hard for the performance. I feel a lot of love when coming to Vietnam, so I hope to bring positive energy to the audience through samba dances.”

The artistic journey led the audience from the pristine beauty of the “green mountains and blue waters” to the image of a dynamic Quang Ninh, rising strongly with the nation into a new era. The event is not only a local festival but also opens up a unique cultural exchange space, connecting heritage values with international friends.

In line with that spirit of integration, Carnaval Ha Long 2026 gathered a large number of artists from various countries around the world. Beyond energizing the street parade atmosphere, international art troupes also delivered spectacular stage performances, vividly recreating the cultural quintessence of different ethnicities.
