The renowned American travel magazine Condé Nast Traveler recently unveiled its list of the top 7 wonders in Southeast Asia, celebrating destinations that offer unique experiences for global travelers.
Vietnam secured the third spot with Bai Tu Long Bay in Quang Ninh Province – a destination that retains its pristine beauty and rare tranquility.
According to Condé Nast Traveler, Southeast Asia is increasingly establishing itself as one of the world's leading travel destinations. The region's allure stems from a harmonious blend of untouched tropical beaches, diverse natural landscapes, ancient heritage sites, and a rich cultural tapestry.
However, to fully appreciate the depth of each destination, travelers should seek out new journeys, venturing beyond familiar tourist routes and iconic landmarks.
Besides the famous spots, Southeast Asia harbors countless "hidden gems" along less-trodden paths, offering truly authentic and distinctive experiences.
Ranked third in the list of Southeast Asia's wonders, Bai Tu Long Bay in Quang Ninh Province has long been likened to a "hidden gem" of the Northeast, renowned for its untouched beauty and fresh air.
This area boasts a magnificent limestone island system, unique caves, small bays, and distinctive floating fishing villages, creating a peaceful, rustic, and intimate atmosphere.
Visitors to Bai Tu Long Bay can enjoy a luxurious cruise journey with high-end services, relishing privacy and relaxation amidst the majestic natural scenery.
Highlight activities include kayaking, immersing in emerald waters, exploring the rich flora and fauna at Bai Tu Long National Park, or joining extended tours to learn about the life and culture of local fishing communities.
In addition to Bai Tu Long, other destinations on this list include: Batanes Province (Philippines); Phnom Kulen National Park (Cambodia); George Town (Penang, Malaysia); Bolaven Plateau (Laos); Doi Inthanon National Park (Thailand); Raja Ampat Islands (Indonesia).
