Art program celebrates establishment of new Bac Ninh Province: Confidence in integration and development
WVR - On the evening of July 4, a special art program was held to celebrate the establishment of the new Bac Ninh Province, under the theme “Bac Ninh – A thousand years of civilization, aspiration to rise in the new era.”

The event was organized by the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council, the People's Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh Province. It drew hundreds of thousands of attendees at two main venues: the 3/2 Square in Bac Giang Ward and the Kinh Bac Cultural Centre Square in Kinh Bac Ward.
This special art performance marked a major political, historical, and cultural milestone — the establishment of the new Bac Ninh Province — a moment of profound significance for the time-honoured land of Kinh Bac.
At the 3/2 Square venue, the program was attended by Pakistan's Ambassador to Vietnam Kohdayar Marri; Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Gau; Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan; and Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thi Huong.

At the Kinh Bac Cultural Centre Square venue, the program was attended by Nguyen Anh Tuan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Commission for Strategic Policy, former Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the Bac Ninh National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Viet Oanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; and Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huong Giang.
Also present at both venues were members of the Standing Committees of the Provincial People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; current and former provincial leaders across different periods; and representatives of provincial departments, agencies, organizations, and localities.

Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan reflected on the proud and heroic history of Bac Ninh – Kinh Bac, a land known for its exceptional people and rich cultural heritage.
According to Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan, in recent years, Bac Ninh and Bac Giang provinces have continuously strived to rise and have become dynamic growth poles in the Northern Key Economic Region. The development journey of the two provinces clearly demonstrates the spirit of innovation, creativity, solidarity, and a strong aspiration for advancement.
Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan emphasized that the merger to form the new Bac Ninh Province carries not only profound political and administrative significance but also opens up vast, sustainable, and comprehensive development opportunities.
“With its new strategic position, Bac Ninh will become a modern hub for industry, urban development, services, trade, and logistics — a driving force for growth in both the region and the country. This is also an occasion for us to affirm our aspirations for advancement, political determination, and responsibility to the people in building Bac Ninh into a centrally governed city before 2030,” he stressed.
The Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial People’s Committee said that the merger marks the beginning of a new journey — one of inheritance, innovation, and breakthrough development. And in that journey, every citizen will serve as a nucleus of creativity, an agent of change, and a writer of new glorious chapters for their homeland.

The 90-minute program was meticulously staged, featuring many renowned artists, including several who hail from Bac Ninh, such as People’s Artist Thuy Huong and singer Hoa Minzy.
The art program was divided into three segments: The Flow of History – A Thousand Years of Civilization; From Traditional Craft Villages to the Industrial Capital of the North; and Shining Land of Aspiration. Each part told an epic, refined, and creatively crafted artistic story. The stage was grand and modern, meticulously designed and enhanced with advanced technology.
One of the most remarkable highlights of the event was a record-setting mass performance featuring more than 1,500 participants — including professional artists, community performers, and students from local schools and art troupes across the province — delivering a vibrant and youthful display set to the rhythm of the newly released song Bac Bling.
The program concluded with a dazzling Drone Light Show synchronized with artistic fireworks — a spectacular visual feast that symbolized the ignition of Bac Ninh’s confident stride into a new era of integration and development.
