Vietnamese electronics, handicrafts draw attention at Global Sources 2025
Vietnamese electronics and handicrafts are capturing international attention at Global Sources 2025, held from October 18-21 at the AsiaWorld-Expo Convention and Exhibition Centre in Hong Kong, China.

The Vietnamese pavilion features key export products, including high-tech electronics, handicrafts, fashion, and home appliances, showcasing the quality, creativity, and innovation of “Made in Vietnam” goods.
Organized by Global Sources, the exhibition brings together over 2,200 exhibitors from countries and territories including the US, Canada, China, Hong Kong, the Republic of Korea (RoK), and Southeast Asia, among them Vietnam.
The Vietnamese pavilion allows visitors to explore a wide range of products from leading Vietnamese exporters, including Gia Long, Minh Giang Craft, KSA Polymer, Khai Phong Wood, Vanglung Rattan, and SHDC Electronics.
Speaking to the press, Vu Thu Huong, representative of the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (VINASME) and head of the Vietnamese delegation, said the program is part of trade promotion efforts by the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency under Ministry of Industry and Trade.
13 enterprises showcase hundreds of unique items, from handcrafted gifts and eco-friendly household products to premium leather furniture and travel bags, she added.
Le Song Hao, Director of SHDC Electronics, the only Vietnamese electronics company at the exhibition, said the company designs and manufactures 100% “Made in Vietnam” high-tech electronics, including circuit boards, multi-purpose chargers, home appliance controllers, and electronic components. Their products are primarily exported to the US, and the company aims to secure new international partners at the event.
Hoang Phong, representative of Vanglung Rattan, highlighted that the company has over 20 years of experience in rattan and bamboo products, exporting to the US, Europe, RoK, and Brazil. This is their first participation at Global Sources in Hong Kong, aimed at promoting products and expanding export markets.
This year, Global Sources 2025 features major exhibition zones for mobile devices, wearable technology, smart home solutions, personal healthcare products, household appliances, and pet supplies. An “AI Pavilion” is introduced for the first time, reflecting trends in technology applications across the global supply chain.
The exhibition is expected to attract more than 60,000 buyers, with record numbers anticipated from emerging markets. The event runs in three phases: Phase 1 (October 11-14), Phase 2 (October 18-21), and Phase 3 (October 27-30).
