This activity has been maintained annually for the past eight years on the 10th day of the third lunar month, becoming a cultural and spiritual rendezvous for the local Vietnamese community.

From early morning, the expatriates gathered in full, preparing traditional offerings such as banh chung, banh day, incense, flowers, tea, and fruits to present at the Hung Kings' altar.

Mr. Luong Xuan Hoa, Chairman of the Vietnamese Association of Udon Thani, stated that the annual commemoration aims to remind the expatriate generations of their national roots. Despite being born and raised in Thailand, the Vietnamese community here always looks towards the homeland.

This year's commemoration was highlighted by a performance from a lion dance troupe from Vietnam, contributing to the promotion of traditional culture to international friends. The abbot of Khanh An Pagoda, Monk Kusol Singkun, highly appreciated the significance of the activity, considering it an opportunity to spread Vietnamese cultural values.
