Vietnam Embassy in Belarus shares information on the 14th National Party Congress
WVR - On January 14, the Vietnam Embassy in Belarus, in collaboration with the Communication Department of the Communist Party of Belarus, organized an information session about the 14th National Congress of the Party for the leadership, party members, and representatives of the Belarusian Communist Youth.

Vietnam Ambassador to Belarus Nguyen Van Trung shared that the 14th National Pary Congress, scheduled from January 19-25, is a crucial political event with decisive significance for Vietnam's development in the new era.
The Congress not only reviews the past five years and sets goals and tasks for the next five years but also outlines strategic thinking, vision, and development direction for the country up to the mid-21st century.
The Ambassador introduced the Belarusian communists to the outstanding results of the Party in implementing the 13th National Party Congress Resolution, the political orientation of the 14th National Party Congress, key goals, tasks, and strategic breakthroughs that the Party will decide at the Congress.
Vietnam remains steadfast in its foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, peace, friendship, multilateralization, and diversification of relations for peace and development.
Emphasizing the importance of upgrading bilateral relations to a Strategic Partnership during General Secretary To Lam's state visit to Belarus in May 2025, the Ambassador affirmed Vietnam's consistent policy towards its traditional friend Belarus, calling on the Communist Party of Belarus and other political parties in Belarus to actively contribute to developing bilateral relations in the new era.

On behalf of the Communist Party of Belarus, First Secretary (General Secretary) of the Central Committee Sergei Syrankov expressed admiration for Vietnam's development under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, headed by General Secretary To Lam.

During a private meeting with the Vietnam Ambassador, the head of the Communist Party of Belarus handed over a congratulatory letter from their party to the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, wishing General Secretary To Lam and the delegates a successful and effective Congress.
The Communist Party of Belarus affirmed its continued support for all of Vietnam's initiatives in the international communist and workers' movement and efforts to build Vietnam into a progressive nation with a prosperous and happy working population.
Major political parties and the Belarusian political community have shown significant interest in the 14th Congress, the most important political event in Vietnam in 2026. The ruling Belarusian party also promptly sent a congratulatory letter to the 14th National Party Congress.
