Attending the meeting were leaders of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, leaders of the Government Cipher Committee, and representatives from various units of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Government Cipher Committee.
The meeting aimed to discuss state management of ciphers and the safeguarding state secret information in the current situation. It sought to further strengthen coordination, information exchange, situation assessment, experience sharing, and solution unification between the Government Cipher Committee and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in implementing related tasks. This effort also aims to raise awareness and ensure security, safety, and information confidentiality in the operations of Vietnamese Representative Missions abroad, meeting the requirements of foreign affairs tasks in the new situation.
Minister Le Hoai Trung congratulated the Government Cipher Committee on its achievements, particularly the honour of receiving the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Vietnamese Cipher sector's tradition. He expressed gratitude to the leadership of the Government Cipher Committee for their valuable support to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, especially their regular coordination, cooperation, and effective support for the Diplomatic Cipher System and the Ministry's efforts in monitoring and ensuring information security and safety in recent times.

Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung urged the Government Cipher Committee to continue strengthening coordination and support for the Cipher and Information Technology Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to ensure security monitoring and information safety for the Ministry's operations in the rapidly evolving and complex cybersecurity and information safety environment.

Speaking at the meeting and acknowledging the directives of Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung, Vu Ngoc Thiem, Head of the Government Cipher Committee, praised the cooperative results between the Government Cipher Committee and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in recent times. This cooperation has contributed to the confidentiality of information, serving the leadership, direction, and foreign affairs activities of Party and State leaders with secrecy, accuracy, and timeliness in all situations. He expressed confidence that the results of the meeting will enhance the quality and effectiveness of coordination between the Government Cipher Committee, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Vietnamese Representative Missions abroad.
The meeting took place in a spirit of solidarity, openness, and responsibility, reflecting the close coordination between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Government Cipher Committee.
