Bunpimay Festival, the largest traditional festival of the Lao people, typically takes place in mid-April. It is an occasion to wish for a new year of peace, prosperity, and happiness.
The Bunpimay Festival is rich in cultural identity, featuring many traditional rituals such as water splashing for luck, tying threads on wrists, and bathing Buddha, symbolizing aspirations for purification, luck, and a good beginning.

Ambassador Le Quang Long affirmed that Vietnam always values and wishes to further strengthen the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.
Lao Ambassador to Cuba Vanhtha Sengmeuang expressed sincere gratitude for the goodwill of Ambassador Le Quang Long and the staff of the Vietnamese Embassy, emphasizing the commitment to continue close cooperation to foster the sustainable development of the bilateral relationship.
