Vietnam Embassy delegation in Cuba congratulates Laos on traditional Bunpimay Festival
WVR - On April 14, on the occasion of the traditional Bunpimay Festival of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, Vietnamese Ambassador to Cuba Le Quang Long led a delegation from the Vietnamese Embassy to congratulate the Lao Embassy in Cuba, where they were received by Ambassador Vanhtha Sengmeuang and his spouse.

The Bunpimay Festival is rich in cultural identity, featuring many traditional rituals such as water splashing for luck, tying threads on wrists, and bathing Buddha, symbolizing aspirations for purification, luck, and a good beginning.

Ambassador Le Quang Long affirmed that Vietnam always values and wishes to further strengthen the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.
