At the ceremony, representatives from the leadership of ministries, sectors, and localities of both countries signed and exchanged 17 documents, including:
A Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation within the framework of the Global Security Initiative between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of the People's Republic of China.
A Memorandum of Cooperation between Hanoi, the capital of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and Beijing, the capital of the People's Republic of China, for the period 2026-2030.
A protocol on establishing, managing, and operating a ministerial-level hotline between the Ministry of Public Security of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China.
A cooperation plan between the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and the Communist Party of China, the People's Republic of China, for the period 2026-2030.
A cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the International Liaison Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
A memorandum of cooperation between the Central Organization Department of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Central Organization Department of the Communist Party of China.
A memorandum between the Ministry of Construction of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the National Development and Reform Commission of the People's Republic of China on implementing railway training cooperation to enhance the capacity of Vietnam's railway workforce.
A memorandum on vocational education cooperation between the Ministry of Education and Training of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China.
A memorandum on cooperation in the field of information technology and digital transformation between the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China.

In recent times, the relationship between Vietnam and China has maintained positive development momentum, with significant and relatively comprehensive progress.
The two sides have promoted substantive cooperation in various fields, especially in economic-trade and investment, maintaining strong development momentum, becoming a highlight in the relationship between the two countries. Vietnam has consistently maintained its position as China's largest trading partner in ASEAN, and for two consecutive years (2024, 2025), it has been China's fourth-largest trading partner globally.
China has been Vietnam's largest trading partner for many years. The trade structure continues to improve, with many Vietnamese agricultural and aquatic products increasingly expanding their market share in China.
Strategic connectivity, especially in transportation and logistics infrastructure, has seen many positive developments. Both sides have promoted standard gauge railway connectivity while piloting the implementation of a smart border gate model, contributing to improving customs clearance efficiency and enhancing regional supply chain connectivity. Cooperation in diplomacy, defense, and security has seen many substantial and transformative achievements.
The achievements not only deepen the relationship between the two Parties and countries but also play an important role in the stability and development of the region.
