Tuy Hoa Airport reopens, Airlines intensify relief deliveries to the Central Region

WVR - After temporarily halting operations due to the impact of floods, Tuy Hoa Airport (Dak Lak Province) has resumed activities, except for the LOC station, which provides directional guidance for runway alignment, still undergoing repairs.

From now until December 31, Vietnam Airlines Group is waiving all freight charges and prioritizing cargo loading to deliver essential goods to provinces affected by storms and floods. To date, over 30 tons of essential goods have been safely transported.

Not only stopping at Hue, Da Nang, and Chu Lai, support shipments are now prioritized to fly directly to Phu Cat, Tuy Hoa, Cam Ranh, Lien Khuong, Buon Ma Thuot, and Pleiku.

Additionally, Vietjet is also supporting the free transport of relief goods from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City airports to regions affected by floods in the Central region. So far, the airline has delivered dozens of tons of goods to the flood-hit areas.

Previously, Bamboo Airways transported one ton of relief rice from the People's Committee of Tan Cuong Commune (Thai Nguyen Province) from Noi Bai Airport to Phu Cat (Gia Lai Province).

The airline continues to accept relief goods sent on flights departing from Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City to Quy Nhon. Goods must be securely packed, with each package not exceeding 40kg and each shipment not exceeding 500kg.

Bamboo Airways Cargo does not transport goods containing batteries or items with hazardous materials to ensure aviation security and safety.
