Reference exchanged rate stays stable at week’s beginning at 24,992 VND/USD

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,992 VND/USD on June 9, unchanged from the last work day of the previous week.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,242 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,742 VND/USD.

At 8:15 am, the opening-hour rates at major commercial banks saw uneven fluctuations on the downward trend.

Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 25,860 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,220 VND/USD, down 21 VND from June 6 morning.

Meanwhile, BIDV kept both rates unchanged, listing the buying rate at 25,881 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,241 VND/USD.
