WVR/VNA - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,886 VND/USD on April 14, down 37 VND from the last work day of the previous week.

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,886 VND/USD on April 14, down 37 VND from the last work day of the previous week.
With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,130 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,642 VND/USD.
At 8:30 am, the opening-hour rates at major commercial banks saw increases.
Both Vietcombank and BIDV listed the buying rate at 25,560 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,920 VND/USD, both up 40 VND from April 11.
