Reference exchange rate continues at 25,228 VND/USD, going up 22 VND

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange at 25,228 VND/USD on July 30, up 22 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,489 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,967 VND/USD.

At 8:25 am, the opening-hour rates at major commercial banks saw increases.

Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 26,040 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,400 VND/USD, both up 20 VND from the July 29 morning session.

BIDV also raised both rates by 10 VND, listing the buying rate at 26,040 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,400 VND/USD.
