Reference exchange at 25,191 VND/USD on July 21, up 6 VND

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange at 25,191 VND/USD on July 21, up 6 VND from the last work day of the previous week.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,451 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,931 VND/USD.

At 8:20 am, the opening-hour rates at major commercial banks saw a slight fluctuation.

Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 25,980 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,340 VND/USD, both up 10 VND from the July 19 morning session.

Meanwhile, BIDV kept the both rates unchanged, posting the buying rate at 25,980 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,340 VND/USD.
