Promote tourism from a QR code bracelet in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province

A lovely bracelet with a QR code promoting a specialised tour for cruise tourists has just been launched by the Department of Tourism of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, and given away for free to foreigners coming to the locality.

The above bracelet is the product that won first prize in the experiential tour design contest of "48h BookingYour Next Trip" and the design of local souvenirs and gifts in 2023 organised by Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provincial Youth Union.

Notice the compact handmade bracelet, the colourful brocade strings are beautifully woven, and most importantly, the circular face on the bracelet integrates a QR code containing travel data.

The bracelet products are completed and released by the Department of Tourism of Ba Ria-Vung Tau at the end of February 2024.

When scanning the QR code, visitors will see images and information of 48 ranked monuments and landscapes of Ba Ria-Vung Tau. In addition, 6 specialised tours have been designed for cruise tourists 6 tours include: Vung Tau coastal destinations, Vung Tau city tour, Phu My-Ba Ria and Long Dien interline tour, Ba Ria-Dat Do interline tour, Ba Ria shopping tour and Country and rural experience tour.

All tours have pictures and information in English. All above-line tour contents are also promoted on the province's tourism website. Every year, the Department of Tourism will coordinate with travel businesses specialising in welcoming cruise passengers and cruise lines to explore new destinations and will update and add suitable tour routes for the cruise tourist segment.

Recently, the Department of Tourism of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province issued about 2,000 bracelets placed on cruise ships of Royal Caribbean International. About 1,000 bracelets are in Ba Ria City along with the tourist information counter where ships are welcomed in the Cai Mep-Thi Vai area.
