Building on its capabilities and experience in Vietnam’s energy sector, PECC2 is expanding its reach regionally with the mission: "Collaborating on energy projects based on digital technology for a connected ASEAN energy network." PECC2 is pioneering new journeys and marking its brand on the Southeast Asian map with notable projects such as consulting service for the Laos-Viet Nam Interconnection project; survey service for the new Phnom Penh International Airport Project (Cambodia); consulting and survey service for the Nam Phak Hydropower Project (Laos), and providing operation and maintenance (O&M) services for the 60MW Houay LaNge Hydropower Plant (Laos). Additionally, PECC2 has been proactively researching cross-border green electricity trading networks with Laos, Cambodia, Singapore, and Malaysia to find international and regional partners for these grid connection projects.
Beyond specific projects, PECC2 actively participates in regional energy development conferences. In 2021 and 2022, PECC2 was one of the Vietnamese energy representatives presenting at the “Future Energy Asia Exhibition and Summit.” PECC2 shared and contributed several proposed solutions for developing clean energy in Southeast Asia.
