The conference was attended by Dr. Nguyen Dong Anh, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Mr. Ngo Ba Hoang Hai, Full-time Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and representatives from Youth Union branches across the Ministry.

In his remarks, Dr. Nguyen Dong Anh noted that Youth Union work and youth movements during the first half of 2026 had closely supported the Ministry's political tasks. He emphasized the need to continue renewing both the content and methods of Youth Union activities in a more practical manner, ensuring they remain closely connected with the professional responsibilities of young officials and the evolving requirements of Vietnam's diplomatic sector.

According to Dr. Nguyen Dong Anh, 2026 marks the first year of implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress, alongside a series of major resolutions and policies issued by the Party Central Committee and the Politburo on economic development, foreign investment attraction, cultural development, innovation, science and technology, and digital transformation.

Against this backdrop, young officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are expected to continue demonstrating their pioneering spirit, strengthen their professional expertise, proactively undertake assigned tasks, and remain ready to serve wherever the Ministry requires. Through these efforts, they can make meaningful contributions to advancing Vietnam's foreign affairs priorities and national development goals.

In the time ahead, the Youth Union of the Ministry will continue improving the effectiveness of its affiliated branches, further integrate Youth Union work with the political and professional responsibilities of each unit, and contribute to developing a contingent of young diplomats capable of meeting the country's development and international integration requirements in the new era.
