| On 8 August, Miss Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc was appointed by the Miss World copyright holder in Vietnam to represent the country at the international pageant in early 2026. She shared that she feels honoured and proud to carry the Vietnam sash for the second time on one of the world’s most prestigious beauty stages. |
Miss Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc, born in Can Tho, is a student at the International Faculty of Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City. Standing at 1.86 meters with measurements of 87-63-98, she was crowned first runner-up at Miss World Vietnam 2022 before winning Miss Intercontinental in Egypt later that year.
Earlier this year, she was nominated as one of the Outstanding Young Faces of Vietnam. With prior experience on the international stage, Bao Ngoc is now highly anticipated to achieve a strong result at the upcoming 73rd Miss World. Before her, Y Nhi placed in the Top 40, leaving fans with much regret. Vietnam’s best records at Miss World so far belong to Lan Khue (Top 11), Luong Thuy Linh (Top 12), Do Thi Ha (Top 13) and Do My Linh (Beauty with a Purpose, Top 40).
Reflecting on her journey, Bao Ngoc shared: “Over the past years, I have constantly worked to improve myself, create my values, and make progress every single day”.
Three years after her Miss Intercontinental victory, the 24-year-old beauty queen continues to receive praise for her radiant appearance, credited to her disciplined fitness routine and balanced lifestyle. Alongside physical training, she dedicates time to learning, sharpening her skills and nurturing her spirit through community work.
In a recent statement, she revealed her next ambition: “I aspire to achieve the best possible result. But more than just a crown, I hope to share a meaningful, genuine story that inspires others”.
Born in 2001, Bao Ngoc also places great emphasis on skincare. She maintains a consistent routine with sunscreen, moisturisers, regular exfoliation, and plenty of water intake to keep her skin healthy, hydrated and radiant.
But her preparation goes far beyond beauty. She actively works on improving her foreign languages, social knowledge, stage performance and most importantly, her charitable projects. “Apart from physical training and academic knowledge, I especially focus on my ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ project - something I believe is the very soul of Miss World”, she explained.
In 2024, Bao Ngoc took part in activities during the 29th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP29) in Baku, Azerbaijan. Speaking at the event, she emphasised the importance of responsible communication:
“I truly hope that everyone, especially those with influence, will help spread accurate information. Sharing unverified content not only risks creating misunderstandings but may also cause unnecessary negative impacts on public awareness”.
