In the context of increasingly deep globalisation, multilateral cooperation models are no longer confined to traditional trade and commerce. They are evolving decisively toward comprehensive ecosystems in which people, knowledge, brands, and culture advance in tandem. Against this backdrop, the international trade cooperation signing ceremony among Vietnam, Korea, and Japan was formally held, marking a significant milestone in the long-term development strategy for the regional beauty industry, technology, and human resource training across Asia.

The core focus of the agreement lies in the implementation of international trade promotion campaigns, cooperation in the distribution of cosmetics and technology products, and the expansion of partnerships in tourism, healthcare, beauty training, and personal brand development-key sectors experiencing strong growth in Vietnam and across the region.

One of the most distinctive features of this agreement is the strategic and long-term application of KOC and KOL resources. Accordingly, the titleholders and runners-up of the Vietnam & International Beauty Industry Pageant will serve as bridges between communications and commerce, directly participating in the distribution, promotion, and business development of cosmetics and high-technology products from Korea and Japan in both the Vietnamese and international markets. This model represents a harmonious integration of personal brand value, beauty standards, and professional credibility, thereby creating a competitive advantage that extends beyond traditional forms of cooperation.

At the heart of this strategy, the Vietnam National Brand Research, Training and Development Institute will assume direct responsibility for training, standardising, and developing the KOC and KOL workforce. Beyond media and commercial skills, the Institute aims to cultivate a new generation of brand ambassadors who are knowledgeable, socially responsible, market-savvy, and capable of representing the national image in international trade activities. This is regarded as a strategic step toward enhancing the quality of human resources in the beauty industry and positioning Vietnam as a regional hub within the value chain.

Under the cooperation roadmap toward 2026, the three parties agreed to implement extensive collaborative programmes in Vietnam, leveraging a professionally trained KOC and KOL workforce to supply human resources, develop markets, expand distribution networks, and promote bilateral and multilateral trade. Concurrently, international-standard training programmes in tourism, healthcare, and beauty services will be transferred, contributing to improved service quality and enhanced competitiveness of the industry.

The presence of representatives from all three countries at the Final Night of the Vietnam & International Beauty Industry Pageant 2025 serves as a strong endorsement of the credibility of this cooperation agreement. At the distinguished signing table, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhi, Director of the Vietnam National Brand Research, Training and Development Institute and Head of the Organising Committee of the Pageant; Mr. Lee Jong-il, Chairman of the Korea-Vietnam Cooperation and Development Committee; and Mr. Yoshida Santoru, representing Japanese enterprises, jointly committed to long-term cooperation and, at the same time, presented the crown to the reigning Vietnam & International Beauty Industry Miss 2025. This moment not only honoured beauty but also reaffirmed the role of beauty queens in the mission of connecting commerce, culture, and national values.

Built upon trust, transparency, and shared growth, the trilateral partnership is expected to unlock breakthrough opportunities, elevate Vietnam’s beauty industry on the regional map, and further promote trade, knowledge transfer, and sustainable development in the era of global integration.
