Many museums offer free admission to celebrate National day

Minister Nguyen Van Hung emphasized that these activities aim to inspire pride in the nation's heroic historical traditions. Through such initiatives, citizens can enjoy the fruits of the country's achievements while contributing to the promotion of Vietnam's cultural heritage, land, and people to international friends.

A variety of special exhibitions will also be held to mark the occasion. At the Ho Chi Minh Museum, there will be thematic displays such as "80 Years of the People's Public Security remembering Uncle Ho's teachings (scheduled to open on August 15) and "The Autumn of Independence" (scheduled to open on August 26).

In addition, the Vietnam National Museum of History will present the exhibition "Mass education - Lighting the future" (scheduled to open on August 22).

Specifically, the museums under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism, and the Vietnam Contemporary Art Theatre will implement this free-admission policy in accordance with the directive of Minister Nguyen Van Hung. The Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism expects to welcome about 50,000 visitors during its three-day free opening from September 1-3.

According to Nguyen Thi Quynh Trang, Director of the Vietnam Contemporary Art Theatre, the theatre will offer free performances for the public, especially children, featuring captivating water puppet shows as well as other artistic and musical programs from September 1-3.
