Taking place from January 1 to 4, 2026, the Mang Den Culture and Tourism Week 2026, with the theme "Blush amid the great Highlands", concluded with beautiful echoes, leaving a deep impression on the hearts of residents, tourists, and the business community.

The program was organised by the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Quang Ngai in collaboration with the People's Committee of Mang Den Commune, under the direction of the People's Committee of Quảng Ngãi.

More than just a series of New Year celebrations, the event strongly affirmed Mang Den's position as a green, culturally rich, and highly potential destination in Quang Ngai's new development space. Over the four days, Măng Đen donned a new, vibrant look while maintaining the pristine beauty of the great forest. The meticulously organised, diverse activities harmoniously combine culture, art, sports, cuisine, and eco-tourism, offering visitors a complete and emotional experience.

The grand opening night, dazzling with fireworks, attracted nearly 10,000 spectators at the centre of Mang Den Commune.

The week commenced with an opening ceremony broadcast live on VTV8 – Vietnam Television, featuring fireworks and a large-scale art program with many renowned artists, set against the cultural flow of the land, attracting nearly 10,000 spectators at the centre of Măng Đen Commune. The sounds of gongs and xoang rhythms resonated across the highland space, blending with contemporary melodies and majestic natural images, creating an artistic picture that was both sacred and modern, marking an emotional and proud transition to a new year.

The festive atmosphere continued to rise with the hot air balloon festival, as Mang Den's sky was ablaze with colors in the early days of the year. The balloons soaring amidst the windy great forest not only created impressive moments but also became a symbol of the aspiration to rise, representing Măng Đen's gradual assertion of its position on the tourism map. Concurrently, the "New Day in Mang Den" art program brought youthful, fresh colours, reflecting the dynamic, creative, and promising life of the highland region.

Here, distinctive products and the warm flavours of the mountains were introduced, contributing to the promotion of local cultural and economic values, while also creating a bridge between producers, businesses, and the market.

A notable highlight of the week was the Quang Ngai Open Pickleball Tournament 2026. The tournament spread the meaningful message "Play Sports – Sow Green Seeds – Build the Future", in collaboration with the "Mang Den Green Seedling" Fund. Through the joint efforts of sponsors, businesses, and athletes, the Fund raised 125 million VND, equivalent to 1,250 Sakura cherry blossom trees, donated to the locality to support tree planting, environmental protection, and sustainable tourism development activities.
