As part of the "Happy Vietnam" Program activities, the Department of Grassroots Information and External Information (Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism) has launched the 'Happy Tet' photo and video contest. The contest aims to capture and spread meaningful Lunar New Year moments, reflecting the cultural and spiritual life of Vietnamese people celebrating Tet both domestically and abroad, as well as foreigners living and working in Vietnam.
The contest seeks to honor the traditional cultural values of the Vietnamese Lunar New Year, from the festive atmosphere, customs, and daily life to the moments of family and community gatherings at the start of the new year. Through photo and video entries, the contest contributes to spreading the image of a peaceful, warm Vietnam, where traditional cultural values and happiness are shared.
The contest is organized online on the digital platform https://happy.vietnam.vn, featuring two categories: Photo and Video. It is open to Vietnamese citizens and foreigners aged 15 and above, regardless of gender or occupation, living in Vietnam or abroad. Entries will be publicly posted and voted on the digital platform according to the Organizing Committee's regulations.
The contest results are determined based on the spread of the entries through interaction metrics such as Likes and Shares, ensuring transparency and fairness as per the published rules. Outstanding entries will be awarded, honored, and used in media activities to promote the cultural values, people, and image of Vietnam within the framework of the "Happy Vietnam" Program.
Submission period: from February 10, 2026, to March 10, 2026.
Detailed information on the rules, contest categories, participation methods, and prize structure is available on the contest's official website at: https://happy.vietnam.vn.
