100% Fresh Flower Space – “Bringing Da Lat to Hanoi”
On the opening day, Chairman of Lam Dong People's Committee Ho Van Muoi toured the entire exhibition space. He spent considerable time discussing with businesses accompanying the provincial delegation, highly appreciating the efforts of the Department of Industry and Trade and accompanying units in transforming the booth into a cultural-economic space rich in impressions, not merely a product display area.

The highlight that has garnered special attention from the media and visitors is the flower boat made from 10,000 everlasting flowers – the largest scale at this year's Fair. Everlasting flowers retain their colour over time and never wither, chosen to tell a symbolic story: the resilience, perseverance, and enduring spirit of the highland region.
The boat is not just a visual masterpiece but also a subtle “economic metaphor”: it is filled with Lam Dong's key export products, such as vegetables, fruits, silk, premium cut flowers, minerals, etc. – industries that have been putting Lam Dong on the global map. The team aims to convey the message that Lam Dong is not only a land of tourism and landscapes but also a “hub” of high-tech agriculture, significantly contributing to the national export turnover.

The entire exhibition area is decorated entirely with fresh Da Lat flowers. The light fragrance, cool humidity, and layered colours lead many visitors to liken it to “stepping from the fair into a slice of mini Da Lat”. This is also one of the rare displays at this year's Autumn Fair using 100% fresh flowers, with artisans decorating the entire artistic structure.
Notably, the organisation, from design, construction to arrangement, is directly managed by the Lam Dong Department of Industry and Trade, with the collaboration of prominent local businesses. The genuine presence and participation of businesses ensure the exhibition is not only beautiful to look at but also “full to understand”, clearly conveying the essence of the province's key industries.
Mr. Nguyen Ba Ut – Director of the Lam Dong Department of Industry and Trade – directly oversaw the process from concept to on-site execution. Sharing on the sidelines of the inspection trip, he emphasised: “We want the people of Hanoi and visitors to not only see flowers but to see the entire economy behind them – to see how Lam Dong is shifting its production mindset, enhancing value instead of just increasing volume.”

A “Story of Integration” Told Through Artistic Display
The exhibition is designed with an open layout, guiding viewers through a journey: from the great forest to the flower fields and then to the sea of trade. Interspersed among the floral spaces are layers of information about the 49 ethnic groups residing in the area, digital transformation models in agriculture, the province's export network, and businesses bringing the “Lam Dong” brand to the world.
This space is not only “beautiful” but also “accurate”: true to its identity – true to its spirit – at the right time as Lam Dong's economy is accelerating with a strategic axis of agriculture – tourism – supporting industries.
For the public, Lam Dong arrives at the Autumn Fair 2025 with a sophisticated image, rich in meaning and memorable. From a professional perspective, this is a well-executed exhibition approach, with a message, a “core value”, rather than just displaying products and waiting for visitors.

The appearance of the 10,000-flower everlasting boat not only sets an aesthetic milestone at the Fair but also serves as a declaration: amidst the fluctuations and competition, Lam Dong chooses to rise sustainably – through quality, identity, and long-term economic thinking.
With what has been showcased at this year's Autumn Fair, Lam Dong is not just here to “participate” but to “declare” – a declaration through art, yet grounded in reality; and through economics, yet not dry. This is the distinction that viewers can feel immediately upon entering this exhibition space – and it is precisely how Lam Dong is marking its place on the 2025 exhibition map.
