Distinctive dishes
Under the theme “Trip of Flavours – A Journey of Taste Across the Continents”, the Thai Embassy in Vietnam will introduce a selection of exquisite dishes at the 2025 International Culinary Culture Festival.
We are proud that our cuisine also has the power to boost immunity and prevent diseases through a variety of herbs and ingredients.
These include Pad Thai, Thailand’s iconic stir-fried noodle dish known for its harmony of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy elements; Som Tam (Green Papaya Salad), a vibrant street-food staple that highlights freshness and bold flavors; and Khao Niew Ma Muang (Mango Sticky Rice), a beloved dessert that is exclusively Thai.
Together, these dishes represent the diversity and appeal of authentic Thai cuisine to international audiences.
Strengthening bonds
The Embassy’s participation also underscores Thailand’s contribution to global gastronomy and its rich, sophisticated food heritage while deepening people-to-people connections between Thailand and Vietnam.
This year, the Embassy is especially pleased to join the International Culinary Festival 2025 as part of joint efforts to raise funds for victims of floods and storms in Vietnam, reinforcing the strong bonds of friendship and solidarity.
In Vietnam, the Royal Thai Embassy continues to actively promote Thai cuisine through a wide range of initiatives, including the Thai Festival in Hanoi, cultural events in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Hanoi Union of Friendship Organisations, and the Embassy’s regular Thai Food Week programs across various hotels nationwide.

Additional activities such as cooking workshops, Thai Select certification programs, and cultural exchanges combining Thai arts, dance, and food further strengthen public appreciation of Thai culinary traditions. These efforts contribute to greater awareness of authentic Thai ingredients, creativity, and healthy cooking practices.
This year’s festival provides a valuable platform to further strengthen connections among embassies, chefs, and the public, offering an opportunity to highlight Thailand’s culinary creativity and the health benefits of Thai cuisine.
With expectations of strong participation and higher public engagement, the Embassy looks forward to welcoming all visitors and local media to our booth to help supporting deeper appreciation of cultures through cuisines and contributing to the good cause.
