International Culinary Culture Festival 2025: Reflecting the humanitarian spirit and community responsibility

Taking place from November 22-23 in Hanoi with the theme “Joining Hands to Support People Overcoming Typhoons and Floods”, the International Culinary Culture Festival attracted over 120 booths from foreign representative agencies, international organizations, localities, and domestic businesses.
Not only a venue to showcase global culinary excellence, the Festival also carries a profound humanitarian message: Spreading the spirit of sharing and jointly supporting people in provinces severely affected by typhoons and floods.

This year’s event saw the participation of the Ukrainian Embassy in Vietnam, with a meticulously prepared booth showcasing traditional dishes and products rich in the cultural imprint of the Eastern European nation.
Speaking with The World & Vietnam Report, Ukrainian Ambassador to Vietnam Gaman Oleksandr expressed his honour in introducing Ukraine's culture and cuisine at the Festival.
He believes that culture is the most approachable and effective way for people to understand and connect with each other. The Ambassador also highlighted that this is an opportunity to present and share Ukraine’s cultural values with the public.
With the theme “Joining Hands to Support People Overcoming Typhoons and Floods”, the activities of the International Culinary Culture Festival 2025 aim to support the community, especially those in the Central and Central Highlands regions of Vietnam affected by recent natural disasters.
Ambassador Gaman Oleksandr assessed that this is a deeply meaningful initiative, where participating nations have the opportunity to contribute, demonstrating solidarity and responsibility towards the community, especially those in difficulty.
He emphasized that as a participating nation, Ukraine is also very honoured to join hands and contribute to this humanitarian activity. This is not only an occasion to introduce culture and cuisine but also to demonstrate the solidarity and responsibility of nations.

Sharing his expectations for the International Culinary Culture Festival 2025, Ambassador Oleksandr affirmed that this is a valuable opportunity for participating countries to introduce their nation, culture, and unique traditions to the public.
In line with this spirit, the Ukrainian Embassy in Vietnam has made efforts to present the most beautiful images of its culture and identity at the festival.
The Ambassador noted that Ukraine, with its rich history and vibrant culture, deserves to be widely shared with international friends, including Vietnam. Cultural exchange events like the International Culinary Culture Festival not only help bridge the gap between nations but also enhance understanding and connection among peoples.
Additionally, the Ambassador mentioned encountering many Vietnamese people who have a special affection for and understanding of Ukraine, partly due to the connecting activities and Ukraine’s presence at cultural events in Vietnam, further deepening the relationship between the two countries.
