On behalf of the Moroccan Government, Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid praised Vietnam's achievements in political stability and socio-economic development. He affirmed that the visit of Vietnam's National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man to Morocco in July 2025 not only strengthened parliamentary cooperation but also enhanced and expanded the cooperative relationship between the two countries in areas with great potential.
Minister Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid expressed his desire for Vietnam to be a gateway for Morocco to promote cooperation with ASEAN countries and affirmed that Morocco is ready to be a gateway for Vietnam to further access the African market.
This year's celebration was marked by new and unique features, honouring traditional Vietnamese culture and the friendship between the peoples of the two countries. For the first time, representatives of the younger generation of mixed heritage from both nations, along with Vietnamese students in the host country, emotionally performed the national anthems of Vietnam and Morocco. The lion dance—a distinctive cultural feature of Vietnam—was excellently performed by Moroccan martial artists, creating a vibrant atmosphere to welcome attendees.
The traditional music program, performed for the first time by talented artists from the Vietnam Cultural Centre in France, left a deep impression with the uniqueness and diversity of traditional musical instruments and the richness of traditional Vietnamese melodies. The event was also an opportunity to introduce the essence of Vietnamese cuisine to international friends.
