Touching Heritage Through Each Destination

The trip took students to three historically and culturally rich sites in Thuận Thành:

1. Bút Tháp Pagoda

At this ancient pagoda, students admired the Thousand-Handed, Thousand-Eyed Guanyin statue, a unique masterpiece of Vietnamese art, listened to Buddhist stories, and felt the serenity of the sacred space.

2. Tomb of Kinh Dương Vương

Students learned about the ancestors of the Vietnamese people and the legend of the Lạc Hồng nation-building – a vivid history lesson beyond the confines of textbooks.

3. Đông Hồ Painting Village

Students directly experienced printing folk paintings, gaining an understanding of the natural materials and colours, as well as the rustic beauty of this renowned traditional craft.

Learning Through Experience – Learning by Experiencing

A highlight of the program is our English-based Heritage Challenges, where students:

• Strengthen communication and presentation skills

• Develop critical thinking through collaborative tasks

• Confidently interact with international teachers

• Become “Heritage Ambassadors” through video reflections

The combination of cultural knowledge and language skills enables students to learn more deeply, remember longer, and grow more confident in real-world learning environments.

The program was a success thanks to the professional coordination of the entire team: Vietnamese teachers, foreign teachers, the coordination department, the media, and the support staff at the destinations.
