This cultural and artistic event is rich in meaning, creating a vibrant space for interaction and entertainment for young people, students, the Vietnamese community, and Russian friends. It also inspires the talents, passion, and aspirations of Vietnamese youth abroad.
The program took place at Moscow Polytechnic University, attracting a large number of students and faculty members.
The highlight of the event was the handicraft stalls and traditional folk games, which helped introduce the unique aspects of Vietnamese culture to international friends.
These activities not only offer experiences but also serve as a gentle bridge, spreading the image of Vietnam and its people in a multicultural environment.
Ms. Alina Andruk, Head of the International Relations Department of the university, shared that there are currently about 40 Vietnamese students studying here. According to her, they are dynamic, diligent, eager to learn, and always conscious of promoting national cultural identity within the international student community.
In her welcoming speech, Ms. Mai Nguyen Tuyet Hoa, First Secretary in charge of education at the Vietnamese Embassy in the Russian Federation, highly appreciated the significance of the program, organized right after the 14th Congress of the Party and ahead of important events for Vietnamese youth and students in Russia.
She praised the spirit of integration and exchange among students, considering it a “spiritual nourishment” that is beneficial and healthy, contributing to enhancing understanding and goodwill from Russian and international friends.
From these spiritual values, “Eastern Light” is seen as a call to action for learning, training, and creativity among the Vietnamese student community in Russia. It affirms the pioneering role of youth in the journey of integration and development, while embodying the Central Youth Union's motto: “Pioneering – Unity – Courage – Breakthrough – Development”.
The program was meticulously crafted, showcasing serious investment in both content and form. The musical performances were carefully selected, blending positive-themed songs with contemporary tunes favored by young people, creating a lively yet culturally rich atmosphere.

Beyond its artistic significance, the concert also spreads a spirit of volunteerism and sharing. All proceeds from the program will be allocated to the “Warm Winter” project, supporting those in need in Vietnam and the Russian Federation.
Through this, the program not only contributes to strengthening Vietnam-Russia friendship but also fosters unity within the student community, building a strong, culturally rich, and passionate collective.
